1 vs. 100 puts you in the hot seat as you play against 100 mob members! Answer the questions correctly and eliminate the mob members. If you give the wrong answer, the game is over! 1 vs. 100 for the Nintendo DS recreates the fun of the hit TV show, while 4 additional game modes bring on new and competitive excitement. The multiplayer aspect is key; competition will add to the nerve-racking decision-making of the traditional TV show. The game features TV host Bob Saget.
1 vs 100 DS GameReviewed by L. Corallo, 2009-12-05
I think this is a great game,I loved it when I sawthe show. This game is fun,but it is a little off on some of the sounds of the show.I still occassionally get new questions, but yeah,a lot of repeats. But,I usually forget some of them.I would recommend this game to a fan of the show.
Disappointing waste of moneyReviewed by M4shoes, 2009-07-02
Repeat questions is the least of the problems. It's boring and
going nowhere. There's no real challenge. There's no advancement
after you win 1M; no accumulation of winnings; no ranks; and
frequent grammar mistakes ("It make it to space and back" or "If
you're [someone's name here], what are your son's names?" to quote
only two of many other annoying mistakes). I know mine isn't
perfect either, but I'm not selling a game or taking anyone's
money.
Makes me wonder why this game is even out there?(duh). Do not even
bother.
Okay if you play only onceReviewed by Sara, 2008-12-25
Like the others have said, you get repeat questions WAY too soon. I got a repeat on the third round. Also, like others have said, the helps (ask the mob, poll the mob, etc.) are not exactly like they were on the show, so they're not nearly as helpful. Definitely borrow this game from someone else before you decide to buy it. Or better yet, buy Brain Age instead!
Terrible game - Save your money!!Reviewed by Sarah Cahill, 2008-12-22
I bought this game because I'm a huge trivia geek and I've seen the show on TV a few times. After playing the game only a few times, you start getting repeat questions. Even worse, one of the main features of the gameshow doesn't work with the game I bought. When I try and "Ask the Mob for Help" the game freezes, it does not interview the crowd, and I basically lose a help. And if I'm going to get picky, Bob Saget's character only has 3 or 4 sayings he keeps repeating during the game which get annoying after the first time you play it. AND there isn't even a high scores list after you win, or a way to keep track of progress or who has won, etc. This game is poorly laid out, poorly produced and a huge waste of money. I plan on returning it pronto. You're much better off buying Are you Smarter Than A Fifth Grader or the Brain Age set.
fun game, repeat questionsReviewed by Amy L. Wees, 2008-08-05
This game is just like the TV version, very fun. But you do get repeat questions after only a few plays. Kind of dissapointing. I wanted a true challenge every time. I just didn't get it with this game. If you are a fan of the show you will like the game because it is really similar. There are also other versions of the game included like 1 vs 100 poker where you can bet money if you know the right answer. It is a fun game, I was just dissapointed with the repeat questions.
